This Roederer rosé is an exceptional wine from an exceptional year, when Champagne growers saw one of the lowest yields of the decade yet produced wines with astonishing finesse. It’s a one-of-a-kind cuvée, 65 percent Pinot Noir and 35 percent Chardonnay, heady with the rich scents of red berries and citrus, plus a touch of chalkiness on the palate.
The vintage was aged on its lees for four years before bottling and we’ve done the hard work keeping it safely cellared since then. Eight years after the grapes were picked, it’s now the perfect moment to pop the cork – and pop another bottle on ice. Trust us, you’ll definitely want more than one.
