Tenuta Tignanello is the estate that put Antinori on the map – and still cements their wines as the most influential in Italy year after year. Along with Solaia, also made on these slopes, Tignanello is the best-of-the-best of their cellars.
This iconic red is a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc just like its big sibling, but here Sangiovese leads the charge. Even the Duchess of Sussex is among its devotees: the name Tignanello gave rise to her blog “The Tig” back when she was writing as Meghan Markle.
This 2014 is a balanced, harmonious vintage reflecting a mild spring and cooler summer.
